Terms and Licence Conditions

This is a translation for convenience. The Czech version is the governing text; in case of any discrepancy, the Czech wording prevails.

In short

• You can create an account for free and start with 2,000 credits plus a 1,000 bonus.
• During the beta the service is free — paid tariffs are still being prepared.
• Once paid tariffs launch, you will be able to change or cancel your tariff at any time.
• You can cancel your account whenever you want; after that we will not charge you anything.
• The texts Alfréd writes are drafts — always review them before you publish them.

The Provider operates the online application Alfrédové.com — your marketing assistant at https://alfredove.com/ (the „Service“). These terms govern the use of the Service, set out the rights and obligations of the Provider and the User, and cover the rules related to subscriptions and data protection.

2. Registration and account types

• Free account: the User may register a free account. This account may have limited features or a limited credit balance.
• Paid tariff: the User will be able to move to a monthly or annual subscription offering advanced features of the Service. During the beta, paid tariffs are not yet available and the Service is provided free of charge.

3. Subscription, invoicing and payment terms

The following applies once paid tariffs are launched. During the beta no payments are collected and no payment details are requested.

• Subscription intervals: the Provider offers monthly and annual subscriptions; the annual subscription may be offered at a discounted rate.
• Payment method: payments are made online by card through the Stripe payment gateway. The amount is charged automatically at the interval of the chosen subscription.
• Automatic renewal: unless the account is cancelled before the end of the billing cycle, the Service automatically renews the subscription for a further period under the same conditions.
• Cancellation: the User may cancel the tariff at any time — from the following period no payment is charged and the Service switches to the free mode.
• One-off payments: not offered (credits cannot be topped up).

4. Terms of use and limitations

• Credits and output limits: the Service runs on a credit system where 1 credit = 1 generated word. A new account receives 2,000 credits plus a 1,000 bonus. Credits have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged or refunded.
• Inappropriate or unlawful content: the User must not enter unlawful data into the application, spread illegal activity or otherwise breach applicable law.
• Responsibility for outputs: the texts the assistant generates are drafts only. The User is obliged to review and, where necessary, edit every draft.

5. Data retention and protection of personal data

• Retention of generated outputs: the Provider stores the history of prompts and texts so that the User can revisit earlier results.
• Personal data: the Provider processes name, e-mail and billing details solely to perform the contract, issue invoices and provide the Service.
• GDPR: the Provider is the controller of personal data. Further details are set out in a separate document, the Privacy Policy.

6. Warranties and liability

• Quality of texts: the Provider does not guarantee that outputs are free of errors; the User must review every draft.
• Limitation of liability: the Provider is not liable for any damage arising from the use of materials generated by the Service.
• Loss of data: the User is obliged to store important texts outside the Service as well; the Provider is not liable for any loss of data.

7. Marketing and promotions

• Promo codes: on selected marketing occasions users may receive promo codes granting additional credit or other benefits.
• Affiliate programme: not currently offered.

8. Withdrawal and termination of use

• B2C service: the Service is available to consumers as well, who may cancel their account at any time.
• Cancelling the account: write to us at info@alfredove.com and we will close the account. Once cancelled, the Service is not renewed and the billing cycle ends with the end of the paid period.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

Contractual relations are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. Any disputes are resolved under generally binding Czech legislation.

11. Final provisions

• These terms took effect on 7 February 2025.
• The Provider reserves the right to change these terms; the User will be informed of any change (e.g. by e-mail or by a notice in the Service).
• By using the Service the User agrees to the current wording of these terms.
